loyalty
/ˈlɔɪ.əl.ti/nounthe quality of staying faithful to someone or something; strong support that does not depend on convenience.
(finance) a duration a holder agrees to be held to, priced in multiples of a share of income.
“Give me 1 Day to earn your loyalty. I'll ask again tomorrow, because loyalty is something you earn every day.”
Origin: Old French loial, from Latin legalis — “of the law”. It has always meant something you can be held to.
Every trade pays 2% into a shared reserve. Stake, and you take a cut of it. How big a cut is decided by how long you are willing to be held to it.

How long will you stay
share = balance × multiplier
The multiplier divides — it does not mint
Income is split by weight, not by share count. A vault where everyone is unlocked still pays out every wei; the multipliers only decide who gets which part. Your share price never moves either — one stLOYAL is one LOYAL, always.
Rewards are pull, not push
Nothing lands in your wallet on its own. ETH accrues to you inside the vault and sits there until you call claim() — which is what the position window is for. It cannot expire and nobody else can take it.
